The SiftAI® FM HD system is a powerful machine vision platform that offers superior vision inspection, leveraging artificial intelligence to train models for any product requiring inspection.
Setting up the SiftAI® FM system is simple for manufacturers. First, product is distributed under the SiftAI® FM to record images of acceptable products. These images are sent to the KPM Analytics team of vision experts who then train the system to decipher acceptable product versus foreign objects, creating an AI model. Once trained, the AI model is delivered to the SiftAI FM to use on the production line.

Once the SiftAI® FM HD system is installed, there are multiple ways to reject variances from the product stream. Dedicated Rejection Mechanism Alongside the SiftAI® FM HD
A simple slide or conveyor drop point automatically triggered by SiftAI® FM HD detection. For installations where foreign materials are less of an occurrence, a simple light or alarm can also trigger for manual removal of the material.
Sharing Rejection with In-Line Metal Detection or X-ray
Installed before the metal detector or X-ray, the SiftAI® FM HD aids in detecting foreign materials commonly missed by those systems.

Operator Interface
The Human Machine Interface (HMI) is located at the line. Operators can watch a real-time stream of the product and review any detected foreign materials when they happen at the inspection point.
