The Infraneo is a multi-purpose infrared whole and powdered grain analyzer with results in 60 seconds no matter how many parameters are measured. A single device to analyze whole grains, flour, brans and other powdered products including semolina, couscous, and bulgur.
Combining durability with suitability for a wide range of applications, the Infraneo is perfectly attuned to the requirements of grain elevators, millers and bakers.
The Infraneo is intended for the analysis of solid products by near infrared (NIR) transmittance. The device establishes the spectrum of a sample in the near infrared domain. In this spectral domain, the product absorbance is lower than in higher spectral bands. The luminous intensity of the radiation can still be measured even if it passed through several centimetres of sample. This technique is particularly recommended when analyzing non homogenous samples such as grain, etc. For grain, it is necessary to obtain representative information on the grain interior to be sure that this data are sufficiently representative. In the Infraneo, the sample is submitted to a near infrared radiation delivered by a very accurate monochromator.
The Infraneo analyzer features the latest generation grating monochromator. Coupled with SAM (Self Adjustment of Monochromator) technology, it achieves levels of stability and precision that are unparalleled in hardware of this type (requires self-adjustment after transportation). Thanks to the PLS open calibration system, trained users are free to develop or refine their own calibrations. Combining durability with suitability for a wide range of applications, the Infraneo is perfectly attuned to the requirements of grain elevators, millers and bakers.
