The FUTURA 3 Continuous Flow Analyzer provides a complete and reliable solution for testing different parameters in sea water, drinking water, wastewater, environmental samples, soil, food, beverages, tobacco, and many other matrices. The testing is done automatically, including inline sample preparation. How It Works

The FUTURA 3 console is capable of running a variety of analytical methods using different Continuous Flow Analysis techniques. From simple colorimetric assays to complex in-line distillations and digestions, users can pick from a library of both micro-bore and macro-bore CFA methods.

To perform a Continuous Flow Analysis, the FUTURA 3 console must be combined with an autosampler that will receive all the samples, and, if required, a series of sample preparation systems based on the chosen method. All external modules can be controlled by the FUTURA software using the Auto Module (optional).

Sample preparation and operation are fully automated, including those for the most complex chemistries; dialysis, distillation, UV digestion, injection, dilution, mixing, incubation and liquid/liquid extraction - all Inline, all 100% automated. Plus, the fully automated process includes programmable start-up and shut-down, preparation of standard solutions, pre- and post-dilution of off-scale samples, and automatic rinsing.

Each FUTURA 3 console integrates a high precision 3-speed peristaltic pump (medium, fast (startup and washout more speed) and slow (for low consumption of reagents)), a removable drawer for reagents, an analytical manifold, a heater, a detector, and a built-in display for the presentation of essential diagnostics data.

Taking advantage of a unique, modular design, each Futura console is capable of running a variety of analytical methods using different CFA techniques. From simple colorimetric assays to complex in-line distillations and digestions, users can pick from a library of both micro-bore and macro bore CFA methods. Up to 16 consoles may be linked to run multiple parameters in parallel, doubling, tripling or even quadrupling overall system throughput.

The integration of a pump, manifold, and detector into each console simplifies manifold changeover. Advanced features, like automatic manifold washout and shut down enable ‘lights-out’ operation, making the Futura a highly versatile tool for today’s laboratory.

Futura 3

Futura 3 is a must have for measuring phenols, cyanides, detergents, total phosphorus, total nitrogen and many other parameters. The main characteristics of the Futura 3 could be summarized by four points: capacity, automation, modularity, and control.

Capacity

Coupled with an auto-sampler XYZ (up to 720 positions), its sample throughput can reach 120 samples/hour.

Automation

Sample preparation and operating are fully automated, including for the most complex chemistries; dialysis, distillation, UV digestion, injection, dilution, mixing, incubation and liquid/liquid extraction...all Inline, all 100% automated. Plus, the fully automated process includes programmable start-up and shut-down, preparation of standard solutions, pre- and post-dilution of off-scale samples, and automatic rinsing

Modularity

Its modularity is exemplary; you can use up to 16 consoles in parallel in order to multiply simultaneous analyses. Switching from one parameter to another is easy with the analytical manifold quick change.

Control

The new high precision peristaltic pump offers three speeds: regular, rapid (quicker startup and washout), and slow (for a low consumption of reagents).
